I am a mother of one wonderful 4-year-old boy who started Kindergarten this year, so many tears (from me, not him…). I work as a Youth Care Worker with the school district and have now for the past 4 years. I absolutely love my job working with some of the city’s most at-risk youth. It can be difficult at times but is by far the most rewarding job. In 7 short months, I get to marry my best friend and have my dream wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge. On top of all of that, I am also working on getting my Social Work degree with the hopes of pursuing a master’s in counseling right after. You can often find me enjoying the outdoors, at a baseball field, or downtown offering support to those in need.
